STEAK & COMPANY – RESTAURANT NEWS

Steak & Co initially began using SteakStones Sizzling Set in 2010 after seeing the product demonstrated at the Restaurant Show in London. The meal quickly became one of the Restaurants best selling dishes and played its part in the company’s expansion to five central London locations over the next few years. An initial concern amongst Restaurateurs keen to incorporate SteakStones is whether this sensational meal will be a fad and it’s almost always contrary to this in that it becomes one of the best sellers on any menu for a very long time.

Steak & Co underwent a rebranding and consolidation to 3 locations following the challenging Covid years and in an effort to minimise launch costs initially chose not to refresh their SteakStones offering. This didn’t go down well with loyal customers who often only visited for the Steak on the Stone experience, as the below reviews show.

This hiatus didn’t last long though and when SteakStones MD Nick Metcalf visited to discuss a new order the front of desk encapsulated the sentiment of her guests when she commented, “are you the SteakStones guy? We really need those back in again, I’m getting so fed up of customers being unhappy that we’re not serving our Steaks that way at the moment”.

Following that meeting SteakStones were reintroduced in the company’s four central London locations in Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and Gloucester Road and their presence can be seen by pride of place on the company’s website homepage and banners outside all the company’s venues as shown below.

Due to popular demand, our products are now back on the menu at all four of Steak and Company’s central London locations, allowing guests to once again enjoy this sizzling dining experience.
